Grizzlies to sign Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract

He's playing in D-League

As reported by Marc J.Spears, the Memphis Grizzlies are expected to sign guard Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract. Williams is playing with Santa Cruz Warriors in D-League and last season won the MVP title in D-League. Grizzlies have a full 15-man roster, so they'll need to waive a player in order to sign Williams.

In Santa Cruz, every day, we've been cherishing Elliot"s elegant on-court presence.... because we knew that it was only a matter of time until he soared back 'into the bigs,' where he so has earned the right to play!! Fond wishes that 10 days will turn into 10 years!
