Disappointing results for the NBA videogame by EA sports while NBA2K16 traveling at full speed well over the million copies
Another year, another game...but still the same old music for EA SPORTS.
According to extrapolation from NPD sales numbers , NBA Live 2016 just sold 8,300 copies during its first month on the US retail sales market in September.
NBA 2K16 launched in late-September and still managed to sell over a million units.
And for those who don't know, here a little behind the scene: EA tried to get exclusive NBA license some years ago, like the deal they have with the NFL. This would have meant that NBA Live would have been the only NBA game on the market. Luckily, the NBA organization turned down EA’s offer.
