Bobcats win easily against Philadelphia

Bobcats reserve guard Ben Gordon finished with a game-high 22 points on 7-for-9 shooting. He was 4-for-4 on three-pointers. Reserve forward Jeffrey Taylor and Kemba Walker added 13 points apiece while reserve forward Cody Zeller (10) was the other double-figure scorer for Charlotte (3-2).

Reserve guard Tony Wroten led the Sixers with 20 points. Vander Blue, another reserve guard, added 15 points. Guards Michael Carter-Williams, James Anderson and Darius Morris added 11 points each.

The Bobcats prevailed, 110-84, in a game that was basically decided after one quarter. The Sixers (2-3) have lost their last two preseason games by a combined 56 points. This time, they rested veteran Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes and Thad Young and they were sorely missed.

The Sixers shot 27 percent at the half and 37.3 percent (31-for-83) overall. They committed 23 turnovers and trailed by as many as 39 points.
