Memphis sends DeMarre Carroll to Wizards

Second-year forward DeMarre Carroll will leave the Grizzlies later today to join the Dakota Wizards - the team's D-League affiliate.

Carroll is no longer in Memphis' plans as he hasn't been in the rotation this season. The Grizzlies did not exercise Carroll's third-year contract option before the start of the regular season.
