Thunder Assign D.J. White To Tulsa

Oklahoma City Thunder forward DJ White was re-assigned to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder’s NBA D-League affiliate, it was announced today. The re-assignment is the 37 th time an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate during the 2009-10 NBA D-League season and the third for White.
In two previous stints with the 66ers this season, White, 6-9, averaged 20.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 39.2 minutes in 10 games. He scored 27 points in a 100-88 victory over the Austin Toros on March 4 in Tulsa.
Selected in the first round (29 th overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, the Thunder acquired White as part of a Draft-day trade. A four-year contributor at Indiana University, White averaged 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds during his senior season.
