Twelve coaches from the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) continue their stint in NBA Development League training camps this week with the Idaho Stampede and the Utah Flash. While with the teams, the CBA coaches have the opportunity to observe practices and receive training by NBA D-League coaches in an effort to provide support to coaches in China. The CBA coaches’ time with the NBA D-League is part of a three-year partnership between the NBA and the CBA, which was announced earlier this year.
The Flash and Stampede will face off in a preseason matchup at Burley High School in Burley, Idaho on Monday, Nov. 23, when all 12 coaches will be on hand to watch the action unfold.
Following the two-week training camps, two CBA coaches will remain in the United States working with Utah head coach Brad Jones, assistant coach Mark Madsen and the rest of the Flash coaching staff in Provo, Utah for the remainder of the NBA D-League season.
