Tulsa 66ers head coach Paul Woolpert was relieved of his duties Saturday
L'allenatore raggiunge un accordo per rescindere il contratto
Oklahoma City Thunder executive vice president and general manager Sam Presti made the announcement that Thunder organization and Woolpert mutually decided to part ways. The 66ers are the NBA Development League affiliate of the Thunder, whose ownership group bought the Tulsa NBDL franchise last July.
"We would like to thank Paul for his contributions to the 66ers," Presti said in a statement released by the Thunder. "We felt at this time that it was in the best interest of the 66ers for us to go in a different direction."
Tulsa finished with a 15-35 record in Woolpert's first season as coach.
The Thunder and 66ers will start the search for a new head coach immediately.
