Fort Wayne: Re-acquired Anthony Kyle (5'9''-G-81, agency: 22ft, college: Miles) and announced that Carl Elliott (6'4''-G-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: George Washington) has left the team. Kyle who was waived prior to the season starting, made his debut on Friday night, scoring two points in 16 minutes off the bench. Elliott, acquired earlier this season in a trade that sent David Bailey to Sioux Falls, signed with the Cocodrilos de Caracas in Venezuela last week. In 27 games for Fort Wayne he averaged 13.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.6 steals. He played in 19 games for Sioux Falls earlier in the season.
Los Angeles: Re-acquired point guard Duane Erwin (6'9''-F-82, college: Memphis) and released NBA veteran Othella Harrington (6'10''-C/F-74, college: Georgetown). Waived on March 29 due to injury, Erwin had appeared in 11 games for LA since being acquired in the beginning of February, and averaged 7.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists. He has also played in the Ukraine and Belgium this season. Harrington, trying to make an NBA comeback since being out of the league since the 2007-08 season, averaged 2.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in three games for LA.
Rio Grande Valley: Re-acquired Marcus Hubbard (6'9''-C-83, college: Angelo St.) and waived Quin Humphrey (6'4''-G-84, college: Youngstown St.) due to injury. Hubbard was waived on March 17 due to injury after joining the Vipers in January. In 23 games for the Vipers this season, he is averaging 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds. Humphrey, a second year guard out of Youngstown State, has appeared in 43 games for the Vipers this season, averaging 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds.
