Toronto Re-Assigns Jawai To Idaho

The Toronto Raptors today re-assigned rookie Nathan Jawai to the Idaho Stampede, the Raptors’ NBA Development League affiliate.

Jawai’s re-assignment is the 43rd in the league this season.

The 6-10 center-forward’s first assignment to the Stampede was between Feb. 26 and March 23, when he appeared in 10 games and averaged 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 25.0 minutes.

Jawai has appeared in six games for the Raptors this season. He was cleared Dec. 17, to begin physical activity after being sidelined since training camp for precautionary reasons as a result of an abnormality detected during normal procedural preseason cardiac screening.
