Gibson has yet to appear in a game for the Erie BayHawks, who claimed him off waivers last week. Players have 48 hours to appear to the team that claims them.
According to Johnson, Gibson's preferred destination was the Texas Legends. The trade deadline has already passed so no arrangement can be made.
