Salt Lake City Stars waive Jermaine Taylor, reacquire L.J. Rose
Taylor averaged 12.6 points per game
The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today that they have reacquired guard L.J. Rose. In a related move, the team has waived Jermaine Taylor.
Rose (6-3, 200, BYU) began the season with the Stars, appearing in two games and averaging 2.5 points and two assists in eight minutes of play before being waived on Nov. 30. The BYU product also competed with the Bahamas National Team for the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers earlier this season.
Taylor appeared in 19 games (four starts) for the Stars this season. He averaged 12.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.4 minutes of action.
