Rio Grande Valley Vipers acquire Cleanthony Early from Santa Cruz Warriors

The Santa Cruz Warriors have traded forward Cleanthony Early and the returning player rights to Elgin Cook to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in exchange for Winston Shepard and the returning player rights to Markus Kennedy.

Early was averaging 13.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game with the Warriors.

Markus Kennedy is currently playing in Italy with The Flexx Pistoia, whereas Elgin Cook is in Germany with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg.
