Agent: Cullen Russo signed NBA G League contract, will be draft eligible
The Fresno State product participated in the NBA G League Player Invitational
Free-agent rookie Cullen Russo signed an NBA G League contract before yesterday's deadline and will be draft eligible, agent Benjamin Khabie of Vision Quest Agency told Sportando.
Russo, a 6-foot-9 forward out Fresno State, averaged 8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game as a senior in the 2016-17 season. He also finished third in the Mountain West Conference in steals per game (1.7).
Russo participated in the NBA G League Player Invitational, where he scored a total of 27 points in two scrimmage games, shooting 9 of 12 from the field, 4 of 5 from three-point range, and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line.
The 2017 NBA G League Draft is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st.
