Agent: Jaylen Morris entering NBA G League Draft
The rookie out of Molloy participated in the G League Player Invitational
Free-agent rookie Jaylen Morris has signed an NBA G League contract and will be draft eligible, agent Ronnie Zeidel told Sportando.
Morris, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Molloy with a 6-foot-9 wingspan, averaged 19.9 points, 2.4 assists and led his team in rebounds per game (7.0) in 36.8 minutes as a senior, shooting 55% from the field and 28% from three-point range. He also earned All-ECC Second Team honors in 2016-17.
Morris participated in the G League Player Invitational in August. He recorded a 30-inch standing vertical and averaged 13 points and 4 rebounds in the scrimmages, shooting 76% from the field.
The NBA G League Draft is scheduled for October 21st.
