Free-agent rookies Kethan Savage and Jerome Frink have signed an NBA G League contract and will be draft eligible, a source told Sportando.
Savage, a 6-foot-3 guard out of Butler, averaged 8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 20.4 minutes per game as a senior, shooting 44% from the field.
Frink, a 6-foot-7 forward out of LIU Brooklyn, led the Blackbirds in total points scored (522, 16.8 per game) and rebounds per game (8.9) in his senior year, shooting 47% from the field and 34% from three-point range. He also earned All-NEC First Team honors and was named NEC Player of the Year in 2016-17.
Frink was included in Sportando's "NCAA Underground 2017" column by Italian scout Marco Ridolfi, who described him as a "Four man with strong upper body who shows a lot of strength in the paint, has quick feet and can definitely hit outside the arc."
