Swarm trade returning rights of Devin Williams to Maine for returning rights of Coron Williams

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced on Monday that they have agreed to a trade with the Maine Red Claws to obtain the returning player rights of guard Coron Williams. In exchange, the Red Claws received the returning player rights of forward Devin Williams.

Coron Williams, a 27-year-old guard with two-year G League experience, is open to the NBA G League with the Greensboro Swarm and is excited about the trade but remains open to the right overseas opportunity, agent Dave Gasman told Sportando.

Devin Williams, a 6-foot-9 forward out of West Virginia, at the moment plans to sign a contract with the NBA G League and join the Maine Red Claws this season, a source told Sportando.
