Italian Federation hopes that Ryan Arcidiacono will get the Italian passport before Eurobasket 2017 but the procedure to get the document is not easy.
The rookie has already played in the past with experimental Italian National Team while he was still playing in NCAA with Villanova.
Ettore Messina, confirmed as head coach of Italy for one more season, would love to have Arcidiacono available for Italy.
Messina talked with Il Corriere dello Sport about that.
“We are closely following the situation but the procedure to get the Italian passport is not easy” Messina told Andrea Barocci of Il Corriere dello Sport.
