Delaware 87ers acquire Rick Jackson
The returning rights to Khalif Wyatt go to Iowa
The Delaware 87ers today acquired Rick Jackson in a trade with the Iowa Energy in exchange for the returning player rights to Khalif Wyatt. This trade is still pending subject to physicals.
A 6-foot-9, 240 pound forward, Jackson was the No. 9 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Development League Draft, and has averaged 6.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game in three contests with the Energy this season.
A native of Philadelphia’s Neumann-Goretti High School, Jackson was a three-year starter at Syracuse University, where he averaged 13.1 points and 7.0 rebounds as a senior in 2010-11.
