Legends Acquire Returning Player Rights in Trade with RGV
Murry and Parrom will go to the Legends
The Legends announced today that they have acquired the returning player rights to Toure’ Murry and Kevin Parrom in a trade with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In return, Rio Grande Valley receives Texas’ own original 1st round pick in the 2015 NBA D-League Draft (sixth overall pick).
Murry (6-5, 195, Wichita State) spent last season with the Vipers averaging 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game and earning a GATORADE NBA Call-Up to the Washington Wizards. Murry played for the New York Knicks in 2013-14 averaging 2.7 points in 51 games of action. As a member of the 2012-13 Vipers Championship team, Murry started 30-of-46 games and averaged 8.3 points. Murry played four seasons at Wichita State University, where he averaged 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
Parrom (6-6, 217, Arizona) spent last season overseas averaging 12.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 28 games. In 2013-14 Parrom played 46 games with the Vipers where he averaged 10.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 22 minutes. Parrom played four seasons at Arizona averaging 8.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in his senior season.
