Delaware 87ers Set to Host 76ers Legend Allen Iverson for Home-Opener
Allen Iverson will be the guest star
The Delaware 87ers today announced an agreement with former Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson, which will see the former NBA All-Star in attendance at the 87ers home-opener against Sioux Falls on Dec. 2, 2014.
Tickets to the home-opener will be available for purchase as part of a three-game pack, with prices starting as low as $33 for reserved seats. In addition to the first game at the Bob Carpenter Center, the other two games included in the pack will be on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 against Grand Rapids and Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 vs. Canton.
Iverson will be available for a number of pre-game festivities, including an exclusive Q-and-A session with Philadelphia 76ers CEO Scott O’Neil, for VIP members. Fans that purchase a limited three-game pack will receive an exclusive photo opportunity with the former MVP.
All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Delaware 87ers AI patch, which will additionally be affixed to the Sevens’ jerseys on-court.
As part of the three-game pack, fans that are present at the game on Jan. 9 will have the opportunity to take a foul shot on the court after the final buzzer sounds.
