He was a standout at Marshall University
After being suspended indefinitely on December 9, recent Marshall basketball standout Elijah Pittman has now entered the NBA D-League player pool according to a source.
Prior to his suspension, Pittman averaged 21.4 points, and 4.4 rebounds in what was to be his senior season for the Thundering Herd. The junior college transfer scored 29 points or more in four of his first five games for Marshall this season.
The 6’9”, 219 pound forward is eligible for the 2014 NBA Draft, and will look for an opportunity to impress NBA decision makers via the NBA D-League.
