Former DePaul star Cleveland Melvin has been claimed by the Erie Bayhawks of D-League to replace Chris Smith, according to Ridiculousupside.com.

Melvin left DePaul last February after the school suspended him for violating team rules.

Melvin was averaging 16.7ppg and 6.4rpg in 20 games this season.
