Spanish Liga ACB and EuroLeague club Barcelona is close to signing Icelandic prospect Kari Jonsson, a source told Sportando. The 1997-born guard averaged 19.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game last season in the Icelandic first division for Haukar.
Jonsson's young age will allow him to play in the Liga ACB without filling a roster spot for foreign players.
