Luis Casimiro, CB Gran Canaria part ways
The coach leaves the Spanish team
Luis Casimiro Palomo Cárdenas won’t continue as the head coach of Herbalife Gran Canaria. The contract between both parts will finish at the end of this month.
Luis Casimiro arrived to Gran Canaria in the summer of 2016 after Aíto García Reneses. With him on the bench, the Club kept the good results from the previous seasons and reached new milestones. In September, 2016 Herbalife Gran Canaria won the Supercopa Endesa, the first title for the Grancanarian team. A few weeks ago, thanks to the qualification to the semifinals in Liga Endesa, Herbalife Gran Canaria will play the 2018/19 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for the first time.
