Juan Francisco Garcia, one of the three candidate for the ACB presidency, has been arrested today in Spain, as reported by El Confidencial.
Garcia, the president of Club de Baloncesto Estudiantes from 2008 to 2014, was running for the presidency against Javier Imbroda and Miguel Juane with the election expected for today during the ACB assembly.
Garcia has been arrested in a police operation for money laundering and tax offenses that also ended with the arrest of the former minister of José María Aznar Eduardo Zaplana.
