Representatives from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Baskonia and Unicaja Malaga have set a meeting to discuss the possibility of leaving the Liga Endesa and
creating a new domestic league in Spain, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.

According to the Spanish website, these clubs are upset by the fact that ACB seems unable to reduce the number of league teams to 16 by the next two seasons. As a matter of fact, Real Betis was re-admitted to Liga ACB following a lawsuit and the number of teams remained 18.
