Unicaja Malaga adds Dragan Milosavljevic
Dragan Milosavljevic inks a two-year deal
Unicaja Malaga added a proven Turkish Airlines EuroLeague talent with the signing of swingman Dragan Milosavljevic to a two-year deal, the club announced Tuesday. Milosavljevic (1.98 meters, 28 years old) arrives from ALBA Berlin, where he averaged 12.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 14 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He boosted his scoring average to 16.5 points in two games against Unicaja. Milosavljevic led the competition in three-point shooting percentage; he made 25 of 46 attempts from downtown (54.4%). He also averaged 12.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 31 German League games before a season-ending elbow injury.
Milosavljevic started his career in Napredak Rubin of his native Krusevac, Serbia. He also played for Radnicki Kragujevac and Partizan Belgrade before joining ALBA in 2015. Milosavljevic has plenty of EuroLeague experience; he played 50 games in the competition, all for Partizan between 2010 and 2014. He averaged 8.4 points and 3 rebounds in his EuroLeague career. Milosavljevic also helped Partizan win three Serbian League titles as well as a pair of Adriatic League and Serbian Cup trophies. He also won the German Cup with ALBA in 2016 and is a member of the Serbian national team.
