Gran Canaria signs Shaquielle McKissic
The forward inks in Spain
Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas added depth and athleticism to its roster by inking small forward Shaquielle McKissic to a one-year deal on Thursday. McKissic (1.96 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Usak Sportif, where he averaged 15.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 26 Turkish League games last season. He started his career with VL Pesaro of Italy, and also played for Changwon LG Sakers of South Korea before joining Usak. Before that, McKissic finished his college career at Arizona State University, averaging 12.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 34 NCAA games in the 2014-15 season.
