Pedro Martinez had a brief meeting with Valencia Basket management but his contract extension seems unlikely, as reported by Las Provincias.
The coach, who won the ACB title with Valencia, has an offer from Unics Kazan and could sign in Russia.
If Martinez leaves Valencia, Txus Vidorreta will replace him at the helm of the new ACB champions.
Vidorreta coached Iberostar Tenerife this season.
