Club Melilla Baloncesto turned down ACB offer to play in the top Spanish division next season.
Melilla was offered the spot after Gipuzkoa decided to play in Leb Gold in 2016-2017.
Melilla, which was promoted on the court but could not meet the requirements to play in ACB a few weeks ago, had to refute again the proposal to play in Liga Endesa in 2017-2018.
The other team that was offered the spot is Palencia.
ACB risks to have 17 teams next year.
