Sarunas Jasikevicius can’t coach in Spanish ACB, according to the Coach Association rules.
Accordino to the rules, a coach can be appointed at the helm of a team just if he has less than a two-year experience as head coach of a pro team.
Jasikevicius has coached Zalgiris Kaunas for just five months and he could not join Barcelona, as reported by El Mundo Deportivo.
There are rumors about Andrea Trinchieri on the radar of Barcelona but the general manager of Bamberg, Daniele Baiesi, turned down the reports.
“Nobody called us and we don’t expect any call for the coach” Baiesi told Gigantes. “Andrea has a contract for next season and he will coach us”.
