Liga Endesa: Real Madrid celebrates the 2016 title
33 time champions for Madrid, 3-1 the finals against Barcelona
Real Madrid won the second consecutive ACB title, winning again the final series against Barcelona (3-1), and celebrating the title number 33 of own history. This year Real won also the National cup in February.
The men of coach Laso, after the second place in the regular season, eliminated during the playoffs Murcia and Valencia, while across the best team of the RS (29-5) reached the final with the post-season victories against Fuenlabrada and Laboral of the seasonal MVP Ioannis Bourousis (3-1 both the semifinal series).
Barcelona won the first thrilling challenge of the series (100-99), but Real was perfect in the next 3 games, with the game-2 away victory and the 91-84 succes for the title, under the eyes of 12173 fans in Barclaycard Center.
Sergio Llull was the Finals MVP with 21 points in the last match of the season.
