Waczynski turns down offer to play the Summer League, says he's close to Unicaja
The Polish player spoke with Sport.pl about his future
Adam Waczynski, in an interview with Sport.pl, said that he turned down an offer to play the NBA Summer League with the Wizards.
The Polish also confirmed that he is close to signing with Unicaja Malaga.
“I don’t want to risk” Waczynski said about the Summer League. “Some people told me to go, other told me to avoid going to the Summer League” said the Polish. “I would like to change club to raise the level. The better offer is from Unicaja Malaga. The agents are talking and finalizing the details. As soon as the ACB will end the whole transfer should be done” the forward added.
Obradoiro will have five days to match Malaga’s offer sheet because Waczynski is under derecho de tanteo. “I have not spoken with the coach yet but the plan is to replace Mindaugas Kuzminskas who is going to another club” continued the player.
