Ioannis Bourousis spoke with Sport24 Radio about the National Team, his future and his past.
National Team. To be honest, i though about retiring from the International Competitions but I had some people who wanted me to stay. I thought about that and I have decided to play and give everything for the National Team.
Giannis Antetokounmpo. He will be a star. It is on his hands to be the leader of the National Team.
Future. Querejeta told me that he wants me to stay. He is very clever and people in Baskonia love me. I had great time in Vitoria. I lived a calm life, like in Kurditsa (where he was born). They want me but I need to make the right decision. I am not waiting for any other offer. It is another thing that I am waiting for (an offer from the NBA?). We’ll see, I am not afraid and I have to try. I’ll wait a few more days because I don’t have anything to lose.
NBA. If I have the chance I’d go. I would not care in which team because being in the NBA would be enough.
Buzzer beater against Barcelona. It was a lucky shot. If I try 100 more times I won’t make it. I saw the ball coming and I thought “What happened here?”. I grabbed the ball and I have scored the buzzer beater.
