Pablo Laso praises Luka Doncic: He reminds me of Dejan Bodiroga

Real Madrid head coach Pablo Laso praised his young star Luka Doncic in an interview with Onda Cerra (via Fullbasket). The Slovenian prospect born in 1999 is having minutes in the team which won everything in the last 12 months (Supercup, Copa del Rey, Euroleague, ACB and Intercontinental Cup).

“He reminds me of Dejan Bodiroga. For his body, for how he views the game, he reads the space, make defensive plays using his cleverness and offensive plays using his skills. He is a sponge, he always wants to grow and learn. He knows he has to respect the players in front of him but he has responsibility and a great opportunity. His teammates know that Doncic can help them” Laso said.
