Taylor signs with Real Madrid

ACB
Jeffery Taylor (23 May 1989, Norrköping, Sweden) has joined Real Madrid for the upcoming season. The forward, who stands at 6'5'', spent the last three seasons playing in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets, a team that selected him as the 31st pick in the first round of the 2012 draft.

As the son of the former NBA player Jeff Taylor, who had spells with the Detroit Pistons and the Houston Rockets, the Swede will provide the Whites with intensity, defensive assuredness and athletic ability. His best season in the American league came in the 2013-14 campaign, when he averaged 8 points and 2.3 rebounds over the course of the 26 games in which he featured.

Taylor made a name for himself at Vanderbilt University, where he was one of the stars of the team. In his final season of college basketball he averaged 16.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, and also stood out in defence.
