Barcelona considering Will Bynum due to the impossibility to sign Rice

Barcelona is considering the possibility to go to Plan B for the point guard, as reported by L'Esportiu. The main target for the Catalan team is Tyrese Rice, but Khimki Moscow doesn't have the intention to let him free.

So Barcelona is eyeing the situation around Will Bynum. The former Pistons and Celtics ended the season in China and the principal danger to the success of the negotiation comes exactly from China. In fact Bynum received a lucrative offer for a contract extension by Guangdong Southern Tigers. When the last CBA season ended he told he would like to sign a multi-year deal to stay in China.

Last season with Guangdong he averaged 22.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game, giving a solid defensive leadership to the team and pushing him to the longest winning streak in CBA history (26 consecutive games).
