Barcelona and Valencia targeting Fernando San Emeterio

Fernando San Emeterio will be one of the most targeted players for the Spanish free agency this summer. His contract with Baskonia will expire and there are two teams interested in signing him: Valencia and Barcelona, Gigantes reported.

There was the possibility for San Emeterio to finish the season in Venezuela, but he turned down that offer.

Valencia is interested in him to replace the Spanish spot Pau Ribas will likely let free. Instead Barcelona is looking to him because of the situation of Davis Bertans, who will have a long rehabilitation because of his injury.

San Emeterio averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game this season.
