Unicaja Malaga made an important offer to Spanish rising star Daniel Diez, La Opinion de Malaga reported. Diez received a two year contract with an option for a third season.
He ended the season with 12.6 points and 7 rebounds per game with Gipuzkoa and he conquered the award "best young player" in ACB.
