Unicaja Malaga will make strong attempts to sign Jackson and Dunston

The team will move many pawns in the offseason

ACB

Unicaja Malaga is close to a very important free agency. The Spanish team already reached an agreement with Edwin Jackson and will also try to reinforce the roster with high level players, La Opinion de Malaga reported, but the first option is trying to extend the deal with Jayson Granger (Malaga already offered him a 3-year $2.1 million extension).

If the hypothesis of extension with Granger were to fall, Unicaja will move on the free agents' market and will try to sign Aaron Jackson and two times Euroleague defensive player of the year Bryant Dunston. Both players will be free agents from the next 30 of June and Malaga will make strong attempts to sign them. The biggest obstacle will be the salary.

Malaga has also to face the Turkish offensive on Mindaugas Kuzminskas. The Spanish team will decide whether to use the option to bring him back for the final year of his contract. The team could consider the hypotesis of not keeping him to make room for sign the other two.

Kuzminskas averaged 9.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in less than 20 minutes per game in Liga ACB.
