Demond Mallet signs a multi-year deal with FIATC Joventut Badalona

Demond Mallet, who will be 37 years old during this upcoming season, signed a guaranteed three year deal with Spanish ACB Club Joventut Badalona. Mallet will lead the team at point guard for the next seasons and will have option to be the Assistant Coach of the Spanish ACB Club for season 2016-2017. Mallet has enjoyed a storied careeer in Europe in part because of his prior time spent with DKV Joventut during the 2007-08 season where Mallet won the Spanish King's Cup and the ULEB Cup Championship. Mallet averaged 13.8 points. 2.4. assists and shot a blistering 48.5% from the three for Joventut during that ULEB cup season. Mallet also has won a Belgian Championship with his former club Spirou Charleroi, a German Championship and a German Cup with Bamberg. He also won a Adriatic Championship and Israeli Cup with Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Mallet has been named MVP twice in the Beko Bundesliga German League and once in the Ethias Belgium League.
