Negotiations between Rockets and Papanikolaou fell apart

The negotiations between the Houston Rockets and Kostas Papanikolaou fell apart and the Greek forward decided to return to FC Barcelona with whom he has contract, according to Sport24.gr.


Coach McHale called Papanikolaou in order to convince him to sign for the Rockets but the proposal was considered too low by Papanikolaou who has to pay by himself $900.000 of the buyout.

Papanikolaou could go the Rockets next summer when his NBA buyout will be “just” €700.000.
