Thomas Heurtel will stay with Laboral Kutxa

Thomas Heurtel won't leave Laboral Kutxa this summer, Noticias de Alava reported. The player will continue his career in Vitoria because the teams interested in him decided not pay a buyout for him and sign free players (Efes-Draper and Fenerbahce-Hickman). Josean Querejeta said that he won't accept to let the player free without a compensation and this thing has lowered the interest of a lot of other teams. He will leave Baskonia free next summer. The plan of the team is to keep him and name him team captain.

Heurtel ended the season as second best passer in ACB, and averaged 10.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.
