One of the most exciting and experienced young combo guards in Europe is set to make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut next season after FC Barcleona announced on Friday the arrival of Tomas Satoransky on a two-year deal. Satoransky (2.01 meters, 22 years old) arrives from Cajasol Seville, where he has played in each of the last five seasons. He averaged 12.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 37 Spanish League games last season, leading Cajasol to the Spanish League playoffs. Satoransky started his career with USK Praha, starting for that team at age 17 and averaging 9.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in 38 Czech League games in the 2008-09 season. In his five seasons in Seville, Satoransky helped his team reach the Spanish League playoffs three times, make it to the Copa del Rey semifinals in 2012 and, above all, reach the 2010-11 Eurocup title game, losing against Unics Kazan. Satoransky played a significant role in that run, starting 15 of his team's 16 games and averaging 6.9 points on 43.8% three-point shooting, 2.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists at age 19. A fan favorite in Seville due to his athleticism and outstanding dunks, and a regular member of the Czech Republic's national team, Satoransky will be a newcomer to watch in the 2014-15 Euroleague.
