The Spanish powerhouse won 28 games in a row (27 this season and Game 5 of the finals last season) passing the previous record held by Real Madrid edition 1984-85.
From 1971 to 1974, in the old Liga Nacional, Real Madrid won 61 games in a row.
Real Madrid also won 32 games this season including also Supercopa e Copa del Rey.
