Lamar odom left Baskonia and told his impressions about the European experience to team's official website:

"I want to say thank you. I'm grateful to the fans for their support and understanding. Not only people , but the whole Vitoria has shown me much appreciation as a person and not just as a basketball player . I would like to thank you for your continued support . I am a bit' embarrassed, but at the same time I am proud to say I'm injured and I still have a team that understands and continues to support me. This means a lot to me and forces me to have a lot of respect . Baskonia what did the for me in this short time has made me realize that people wanted me. 'Twas fantastic "

Injury : " It is something that is beyond my control. I have to be responsible and take care of the injury. I want to take it very seriously and with pride. Journey is not over, so I have to take care of this injury and what I do here , but I'm representing Baskonia and what I want is to try to get back on the field and give a good show to the people of Vitoria . I do it with integrity and pride. I want to do it without damage to either the club or the team, or me"

Return to Vitoria : "I think everything happens for a reason and now in Vitoria and Baskonia I have a home waiting for me. It's a place where I will always be eager to return . I would like to return to the team as soon as possible , treating this injury and be strong for prove on the field that I feel better "
