Lietuvos Rytas' Juan Palacios obtains Spanish citizenship

Lietuvos Rytas’ Colombian power forward Juan Palacios has recently obtained Spanish citizenship. Palacios played a total of four seasons in Spain between 2008 and 2012, plying his trade for Vic, La Palma and Gran Canaria.

The 28 year-old is having a great season in Lithuania and admits that “physically I’m in great shape and I think I’m heading into my best years”. Proof of this is his average of 12.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in all competitions this year (Lithuanian league, VTB United league, Euroleague and Eurocup).
