Real Madrid extends Pablo Laso through 2016
The coach extends his deal

On Friday afternoon is was made official by the club that Real Madrid and head coach Pablo Laso reached an agreement to extend their relationship for two more seasons, until the end of the 2015-16 season. Laso arrived to the Real Madrid bench at the start of the 2011-12 season. In 2012, in his first season, Laso led Real Madrid to the King's Cup trophy. In 2012-13, already in his second year, he took the team to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in London and reached the title game, losing to back-to-back champs Olympiacos. Real Madrid also won the Spanish League. This season, his third with Real Madrid as a coach, Laso is wowing everyone with the numbers of his team. Real Madrid is yet to lose a game this season both in domestic and Euroleague competition and he has been counting its wins by blowouts. Laso also played two seasons in Real Madrid in the mid-nineties.
