Estudiantes is close to penning a deal with Spurs Draftee DeShaun Thomas, according to Gigantes.
The rookie finished his college career with Ohio State averaging 19.8ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.3apg.
Thomas has been selected with the 58th overall pick by the Spurs in the 2013 NBA Draft.
