Andrew Bogut to name tomorrow NBL team he will play for

Bogut is expected to name tonight which NBL club he will play for, pending insurance approval by FIBA, the sport's governing body, and his legal team. Bogut's manager, Bruce Kaider, was last night still awaiting final approval on insurance cover of about $500,000 in case the NBA centre was hurt in the NBL and jeopardised the remaining three years and $40 million on his contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. The NBA remains in a lock-out. Bogut has already decided which club he will play for but won't make it public until the insurance is approved. There was growing speculation yesterday he would join the Sydney Kings, with the Gold Coast Blaze and Adelaide 36ers also in the running. If he was to join the Kings, he would face the Melbourne Tigers in the season opener on Friday night.
